We started as a little swimwear boutique called Beachy Keen Bay, just a block from the ocean in Hermosa Beach, California. Our neighborhood bikini shop would grow over the next 30 years to become a destination for swimwear, clothing, and helping customers find their best fit.

In 2009, we expanded our store and launched our online business. In 2010, we acquired the Bestswimwear name. As customers began shopping with us from across the country, we focused on what mattered most: expert fit advice, exceptional service, and a carefully curated collection of swimwear.

Over the years, we've answered to a few different names. What began as Beachy Keen Bay became Beachy Keen, then BKB, and eventually Bestswimwear. While the name on the door may have changed, our mission has remained the same: helping customers find swimwear they love and providing the kind of personal service that's hard to find anywhere else.

In 2021, we opened our second location in the beautiful Belmont Shore neighborhood of Long Beach, allowing us to serve even more customers throughout Southern California.
