About The Designer

Redondo Beach Goldilocks, Nikol Roberts, is the face behind the B.Swim brand.  Nikol moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to pursue her dream of fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM).  Her design degree led her to many adventures in films and costume design, premium denim, novelty children’s wear and trend forecasting.  In 2006 Nikol’s love for creativity and color landed her a position as head designer for B.Swim.  With her gift to think outside the box and her persistence in pushing the envelope,  B.Swim is quickly being recognized around the globe for it’s whimsical, eclectic, and glamorous pieces.

Nikol’s Inspirations: Vintage shopping, flea markets, traveling, Australian aesthetic, pop culture, mixing era’s, graffiti art, anime, interior design, couture,  fabulous jewelry and movies that create an impact on time.

In Nikol’s World: Everyone is happy, the sun is always shinning, tans are healthy, music follows you wherever you go, shopping is free trade, teleporting is the new cell phone, and money does grow on trees.
